Education Center Construction

March 31, 2002

Monday, April 1 -- A great deal of drywall work has
occurred since last Wednesday. Here we see the
office reception area with taping completed.		 The hallways have almost all of the drywall
in place. The classrooms are nearly finished as
well. Lack of light in many areas makes
photography difficult.

Thursday, April 4 -- Last Friday, HVAC units
were craned into position.		 These larger units are for the
chapel and gymnasium.

Electricians spent the day pulling
wire from exterior access panels ...		 ... to breaker panels inside the building.

The main entry hall is drywalled,
taped and ready for texturing.		 The women's locker room is ready
for texturing and tile work.
Saturday, April 6 -- The administration
area is texturized.
Drywall workers use stilts to get up
where the taping needs to be done.

Next week drywall work should be completed.
Electrical, and plumbing work will continue.
Installation of data and phone lines will begin.
Tile work in locker rooms and rest rooms could
begin as well.
