Education Center Construction
Week of
June 2, 2002

Monday, June 3 -- Ceiling tiles and
insulation were installed in the chapel.
Work is nearly complete in the
cafeteria and kitchen as well.
Faculty and student workers began the
process of moving out of the modular
classrooms. The locker/weight room was
completely emptied.
A large dumpster was delivered to campus to
haul away moving debris. There is a work day
on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. to demolish ramps
and prepare for the removal of the modulars.

Wednesday, June 5 -- The chapel
ceiling is now complete.
Doors and door frames are being painted.

Scoreboards are being installed. The wood floor for the gymnasium is being
delivered. It must sit for two weeks to
become acclimated to its environment.

Thursday, May 6 -- Scoreboards and
cages are installed and powered-up.
Demolition of the ramps is almost complete.

Friday, May 7 -- Restroom stalls and
modesty panels were installed today ...
... along with towel dispensers
and waste receptacles.

Saturday, May 8 -- Jackhammers help break up
asphalt and concrete block in the old quad area.
Mario removes a bench to allow the modulars
to be removed over the next few weeks.

A crew from Prince of Peace, Yucaipa
helps to relocate some shrubs.
These oleanders must go for the
restroom building to be removed.
