Tuesday, October 2 -- Loads of sand are
delivered and forms for the pad are installed
A layer of plastic is covered with sand
to provide a barrier to moisture.

A great deal of rebar needs to be placed
before concrete is poured on October 10.
Trenching is done to tie the new sewer
lines into the exixting sewer lines.

Wednesday, October 3 -- Plastic sheeting and
sand continued to be spread today. More work
was also done to tie the new building's sewers
into the existing sewer lines.
Thursday, October 4 -- Workmen placed rebar
today. Though difficult to see in this picture,
the area in the back of this photo has all the
iron in position

This is one of the footings to support
the roof in the classroom area.
The raised open area of dirt will be the
location of the stage in the gymnasium.

Workmen wire together the
intersections of the rebar.
By day's end all the rebar is in position.

Friday, October 5 -- Rebar was positioned in
the locker room area of the gymnasium.
Small concrete blocks are used to raise the
rebar off the ground
Holes were drilled in the forms and lengths of
rebar were inserted. Everything looks good
for pouring the pad on Wednesday, October 10.
