  Aphids are found all over the United States and are seen mostly in places with many plants. Unfortunately, there was no distribution map for our insect friends.

Interesting Facts
Aphids feed mostly on sap. The effect of these creatures is that they cause the plants to become distorted or deformed. They are also among the most common plant destroying insects.

The Aphid and CLHS

The Aphid is an interesting creature. It has been found on our campus in the herb garden that four of our biology students planted. Their infesting presence shows that our plants are growing.
