Interesting Facts
Despite popular belief, the tarantulas living in the U.S. are not aggressive, and they are NOT deadly. It is very hard for a tarantula to bite a human, and when it does, the bite hurts no more than a bee sting. Tarantulas are virtually blind and walk around using their senses of scent and touch.
