seen in the area around our campus. Loss of habitat to development has made
seeing a Golden Eagle a rare occurence in our area.

Interesting Facts
A pair of Golden Eagles stay together for life.
When the babies are born they are entirely white. Length:
32 inches, Wingspan: 7 feet. Golden Eagles have
a lifespan
of about 15 years. Their hunting territory extends up to 162 square miles.
