The Scrub Jay is the same size as the Blue Jay; though it has a longer tail. It is a deep blue with a white stripe above the eyes and ears. It can be easily heard with one of it's many calls.

Natural Range
The beautiful Scrub Jay is usually found in the range of west Oregon to Baja California and some in Mexico and Florida, mainly in chaparral country.

Interesting Facts
There are three different types of the Scrub Jay. they eat nuts such as acorns, and grains, berries, and other various types of vegetation. They create their nests in bushes and in trees.
