Interesting Facts
The turkey vulture uses its sense of smell to locate carrion. The part of its brain that is responsible for this is surpringly a lot bigger than other birds. Turkey vultures are known to forage for food on their own. If there were to be a large group of black vultures and one turkey vulture surrounding a carcass, the turkey vulture could take most of the food!
