Natural Range
Betta Fishes are found in Far East Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam,Thailand and parts of China. They are known to live in shallow waters of rice paddies, shallow ponds, and slow moving streams.

Interesting Facts
Also known as Siamese Fighting Fish, Bettas are known for their unusual colors of red, white, blue and purple. The male Bettas are easily spotted by their vibrant colors and their long flowing fins. The female bettas are not as colorful and have shorter fins. Male bettas are extremely aggressive towards one another and will fight to the death if there is another male in the same tank.
