Natural Range
The Black Tetra is a fresh water aquarium fish that
is found in Paraguay and the Guapore River basins. (southern Brazil, Argentina,
Bolivia)
Interesting Facts
The Black Tetra is a very active fish that
spends most of its time in the middle or upper layers of the fish tank. They
can grow up to two inches long depending on the size of their habitat, (aquarium
size) The female Tetra is a little wider and their tails are a little more
narrow then
the males.
