The
Blue Gourami is a peacful loving fish. These fishes are very bright in color
also.

Interesting Facts
These fishes like to be with other peaceful
and loving fish, or they will become stressed. They are very social and love
company. They like to be in the middle of the tank.The male fish have pointed
dorsal fins. These fish get up to about 4 inches.

The freshwater tank in the science lab has had two
gouramies since the fall of 2002. They are the favorites of many of the students.
They are also very popular with aquarists around the world because of their
gentle nature. When their mood changes, they change color as well.
