Goldfish have a memory span of 3 seconds.The average lifespan of a goldfish is 5 to 10 years, however, the oldest golfish is 41 years old. In households today, they are the most common pet. There are 125 different kinds of goldfish in the world and 2 categories of them: torpedo-shaped, and egg-shaped.

The Goldfish and CLHS

The goldfish at CLHS were inteneded to be food for the red-eared slider turtle in our science lab, but have become an addition to the collection because the turtle will not eat them.
