Natural Range
These lizards are spread throughout eastern Oregon,
southwest Idaho, and southern
California. You can find them areas over 6,000 ft. It is usually found
on or near rocks, wood piles, and branches of shrubs.Click here to

Interesting Facts
This lizard likes sitting on prominent points,
like the top of fences, where it can bathe itself in the sun. It can also
change it color to the background of what its on. The species as a whole
are called The Western Fence Lizard, but most commonly
it is
called
Blue Belly Lizard or Swift.

The Blue Belly Lizard would most of the time be found
under rocks, by dorms ,and behind the modulars where it likes to hide and
be in warm spots. Occasionally it might be found on or by fences to look
for food and watch out for enemies.
