Natural Range
This lizard is found from Idaho down south through Nevada and west along the Pacific coast. Here is a map showing the distribution of sub-species in California.

Interesting Facts
This sun-loving, lizard has patches of beautiful blue scales. Most commonly known as "blue bellies". Males have more coloration than females. These lizards can live up to 6 years.
