Interesting Facts
There are nearly 1,000 species of bats. Seventy percent of bats feed off of insects. They eat about 600 mosquitoes an hour. They are 3 3/8" to 3 5/8" in length and have a 13" wingspan. The California Leaf-nosed Bat feeds just above ground level on crickets and other insects.
