Natural Range
Skunks are mostly found from southern Canada to northern Mexico.

Interesting Facts
In self-defense, the skunk will lift up its tail and spray a stinky fluid called musk.

 

The Skunk and CLHS
Skunks are primarily nocturnal and have been observed on our campus on numerous occasions. When a neighborhood dog gets too curious, we notice in the daytime as well!
