Natural Range
Since the Red Gum Eucalyptus is sprouting up everywhere in sight it might seem that it is natural to California, but it isn't. This tall tree is actually native to Austrailia.

Interesting Facts
This aromatic tree is slowly coming into population in Southern California. They are basically immune to any insect predator accept the redgum lerp psyllid which are tearing down these trees along the San Diego County line.

The Red Gum Eucalyptus and CLHS

The Red Gum Eucalyptus borders the CLHS campus. Not only is it pleasing to the eye, but also to the nose! Thank goodness we have this tree because our campus would not be the same without it!
