Natural Range
The Redwood's distribution range is coastal, from northern California to southwest Oregon. Its north boundary is Siskiyou Mountains, its south boundary is located a grove in Salmon Creek Canyon.

Interesting Facts
Young seedlings that are provided the adequete moisture and sunlight can grow up to 18 inches. Sprouts can achieve 7 feet in height.

The California Redwood and CLHS

The California Redwood has been living in our dormitory backyard for a couple years. While not growing extremely fast it is stilll growing a little.
